Description: And now for something completely different! You never see my painting landscapes because I fear them. TOO MANY DETAILS. But I can't really call myself a true painter if I ignore this huge subject, one that has been explored by so many artists I admire, can I? Well, I can, but it doesn't feel right to me, you know? So this summer I began a major landscape painting (one that is reflected upside down in a creek, no less) and for my YouTube channel, here's a quicker and less ridiculous painting of the Mississippi River at Quincy, Illinois.
