Description: Everyone and their mother was complaining about how Opticor Vandal lost base damage in exchange for fire rate. So I decided to minmax the hell out of fire rate and turn it into a machine gun. It sucks on ESO (because buffs reset every zone) (wave 6 omegalul), and it requires 4 imbeciles willing to band together to make a monstrosity. That said, you can probably run a less meme-y fire rate build and it will do pretty well for general use. Opticor Vandal is a great weapon IMO. Yes it loses part of its identity as the 1hko BFG we all know and love, but the tradeoff is worth it IMO. I've always liked new gimmicks or interpretations of weapons rather than just straight up stat upgrades. If you mod your Opticor Vandal properly, I argue it's far more QoL than the base Opticor - because Warframe is mostly about distributing "good enough" damage across multiple targets efficiently than dealing super overkill damage to one target. Opticor isn't even reliable for single target damage like Eidolons because of its funky beam hitbox, so I'm more than willing to lose the single target aspect for overall smoothness of use.
