A Russian propagandist has presented on state TV a simulation of an imaginary nuclear strike that would wipe out the UK and Ireland. Dmitry Kiselyov, who is an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was seen in a May 1 broadcast of "News of the World" show narrating how the UK might be destroyed by a nuclear strike delivered either by air or sea. "Just one launch, Boris, and England is gone," Kiselyov said over a computer-generated simulation, referring to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. "Once and for all. Why play with us?" Kiselyov said, "It actually seems like they're raving on the British Isles. Why threaten never-ending Russia with nuclear weapons when you're on an island, which, you know, is so small?" He added that "just one Sarmat missile" would be "sufficient to sink it once and for all." Kiselyov added, another way to "put England onto the seabed" would be to use Russia's "Poseidon" underwater drone. He stated, "It approaches the target at a one-kilometer depth at 200 kilometers per hour. There is no way to stop this underwater drone. The warhead on it is up to 100 megatons" In this video Defense Updates analyzes why Russia will not survive if it attacks Britain with nukes ? #DefenseUpdates #UKvsRussia #UkraineRussia CHANNEL LINK: Facebook - facebook.com/DefenseUpdates SUPPORT US: Patron: patreon.com/defenseupdates AUDIO: scottleffler.com BACKGROUND MUSIC incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/music.html "Giant Wyrm" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0 IMAGES USES Sergei Chirikov/Getty Images / newsweek.com newsweek.com/russia-tv-nuclear-ireland-uk-ukraine-kremlin-propaganda-1702909 dailymail.co.uk / Rosslya 1 / east2west news dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10774235/Ukraine-war-Russian-state-media-threatens-UK-underwater-nuke.html LA(phot) Mez Merrill / defenceimagery.mod.uk / wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanguard-class_submarine#/media/File:HMS_Victorious._08-12-2003_MOD_45143491.jpg CPOA(Phot) Tam McDonald / UK MOD / wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanguard-class_submarine#/media/File:Vanguard_at_Faslane_03.jpg en.wikipedia.org / Lockheed Martin / US Navy en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanguard-class_submarine#/media/File:Trident_II_missile_image.jpg wikipedia.org / POA(Phot) Tam McDonald / defenceimagery.mod.uk en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Vengeance_(S31)#/media/File:Image_of_HMS_Vengeance_returning_to_HMNB_Clyde,_after_completing_Operational_Sea_Training_MOD_45159434.jpg wikipedia.org / CPOA(Phot) Tam McDonald / defenceimagery.mod.uk en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Vanguard_(S28)
