Description: In a previous episode, Clem mapped the pinout for his 1960 Siemens S100 Teletype. Now it's time to connect it via USB to a modern PC! He'll need to decode its communication protocol and interface it with an Arduino to make that happen. 75Baud 5-Bit Baudot code is quite different from modern ASCII encoding. There are some bumps in the road, like Baudrate calibration and recreating the Serial protocol in Arduino Code. What other retro tech would you like to see revived?
