Description: This is a vintage drill driver 7.2V, National Japan. I failed to convert Nicd battery to lithium-ion because the BMS could not provide enough current for the motor, you can check it again youtu.be/9GCz8xXr3GM. I want to get it back by upgrading it from 7.2V to 18V. There are two main parts in this process. The first is rewinding the DC motor from 7.2V to 18V, and the second is the battery adapter. - DC motor information Original winding: copper wire 0.85 mm and 8 turns for 7.2V My first test: copper wire 0.75 mm and 16 turns (failed) My second test: copper wire 0.60 mm and 25 turns (failed) My 3rd test: copper wire 0.50 mm and 25 turns (Okay) I think the armature needs a fan to cool while the current is running. I hope you find this video useful and enjoy it! Furthermore, I am happy to receive feedback, suggestions to improve myself. !!! I'm sorry for the mistake if I did in this video !!!
