Description: YO! Welcome to the second song of the year, "Harlequin". So when I was reading online, I came across the word Harlequin, and i'm like wait is that where Harley Quinn's name comes from?? So I read more into it and found it means ALOT of different things throughout history, but one meaning caught my eye. "An archetype of a servant who is there to entertain, but eventually rises up against their master". There is also a disease called Harlequin ichthyosis, where the skin hardens and forms diamond shaped plates - I made a reference to this in lyrics :). I thought it would be cool to visualize a jester entertaining a king, but secretly having a plan to overthrow him. Like ayo, check out my balloons, BAM, the harlequin appears behind the king, but she is also still doing tricks in front of him. The king is like "yo, how is this possible? How is there two of you?". The harlequin be like "it's not possible, thats the point". The kings guard be like "Don't worry king, we are here to save you". The harlequin laughs as all of them can't move cuz she melted their shoes to the ground. Harlequin - "now feel my wrath you senile old man". King - "no no no, if it's money you want". The harlequin disappeared, no where to be seen. But she left a note that said "til next time fartfaces". One of the kings guard says - "Wait, what do i do when i need to use the bathroom". another kings gaurd - "Just take off your shoes you imbecile". LOL why did I just write this, sigh.
