Description: I filmed this UFO just outside of Bakersfield, California on November 13, 2007. This aircraft is known as the "Giant Silent Black Triangle UFO". It also looks to be like the government aircraft TR3B Astra or the TR3A Black Manta. Pretty cool that this silent aircraft technology exists. The way it floated on its side and other positions makes me think it is an anti-gravity technology aircraft. I was a little freaked out back then when I spotted it as you can hear in my voice. My friend, Jeannie, was there and she was a little scared and excited too. It was pretty amazing! It made big circles and flew over us three times and got lower and lower! The first time I looked at it with my binoculars. The next two times I tried my best to film it. The third time it went over us, it was only about 500-1000 feet up above our heads. 4:14 first clear shot 12:13 hovers over us for third time very low 14:01 triangle shape is visable I originally uploaded a 3 minute clip of this video back in 2007. It was a low resolution clip. I can't figure out how to get into that old account to remove it. This time I have uploaded all 16 minutes full resolution of footage that I shot before my battery died that night. The camera I used to film this UFO was a Sony DCR-PC5 digital video camera. I switched back and forth from "night shot on" (night vision) to "night shot off". I was able to see the flying object a little better when the night shot was switched on. The night shot uses infrared to see things in the dark. I spotted this UFO in the sky while we were driving home from San Diego up to Stockton. We were driving up the 5 north. We saw it about 60 miles north of Bakersfield, CA and followed it for probably 30 miles. I shot about 3 or 4 minutes of pretty clear footage. I have a total of 16 minutes of footage as we chased it. With our own eyes we could see the outline of the craft at times. It had red lights most of the time, but sometimes the lights on the mysterious aircraft would all shut off. The second time that it flew directly over us the lights turned to a white-light blue color. This is definitely not an airplane. It flew right over us twice, about 1,000 feet above our heads and made absolutely NO sound - totally silent! It just glided through the air. It appeared to shape shift or maybe it just changed its angle or lights. It was difficult to see in the black night sky at times. At one point it appeared to expand to the size of 4 football fields. It flew side ways. At one point what looked like a comet flew out of it sideways. I didn't get that on video. I've seen lots of shooting stars and they ALWAYS come from the sky. This one flew sideways slowly. Very strange. Pretty amazing. Near the end of the footage it looked like a triangle banking on its side. Still in shock that I got to see this thing, watch it for so long, and get it on video! Was it aliens? I may never know. I think it is extraordinary. At the end of this video I show some footage that I got when we drove back to the location a week later and it was lighter outside. I filmed where it hovered over our heads for a third time. I was hoping to see the UFO again when we went back that day, but I didn't. What an amazing experience! I've been a skywatcher my entire life! Keep your eyes to the skies!
