Some years ago I often spent my holidays in Italy and there mainly in Tuscany. I love this country and the amazing food! 🙂 One very hot and humid day I was in the city of Lucca. To get out of the baking Sun, I was standing in the shadows of a high, meter thick, medieval defense wall, I looked up and saw the Swallows in the blue sky chasing insects. This is what I had in mind when I wrote this music. It could also be called: "Coffee break in Lucca"... But actually I never had a coffee there :-) I had it in Siena later that same day. :-) I recorded this before Russia invaded their neighbor Ukraine. Little did I know of the horrors to come...
