Description: We’ve often heard of people raised by wild animals stories, but how often do you hear about real people raised by wild animals? These people have been isolated from human contact from a very young age and grew up wild, sometimes being taken cared of by animals. Some feral people have been confined by other people (usually their own parents), but here we’ll only be discussing some cases of people raised by animals in the wild. Be prepared for some amazing and bizarre stories. Although such a complex collection of animals makes for a piece of visually resplendent fiction, you may be wondering if there’s any truth behind a boy being raised by wolves. There are various mythological or literary whispering about babies being reared in this way, including Tarzan – looked after by great apes – and Romulus and Remus, the supposed founders of Rome, who were also tended to by wolves.
