Description: Some heavy bag tips. Big tip - keep it simple. Use your jab, learn to love your jab, it's a wondrous punch that really demonstrates how good you are. Work a round on the heavy bag with just your jab. Feint then fire, accelerate the shot. Fire straight out and back, no elbow flare. Then you have close range work on the heavy bag. Hooks and uppercuts, body and head. I am using the maize bag here, a fantastic alternative to the heavy bag, but you can do all of this stuff with the heavy bag too. Keep your arms close, drive power from the legs, and try rolling after your shots. Key thing is that defensive thinking is always important even during offensive actions.
