Description: This is an updated video of Rocky as he is now much better fixed. The reason his front two legs seem a little off when he lifts is because the front two gears and axles that connect to the front two legs are 3D printed, so they look weird but on carpet it’s completely unnoticeable, and other than these demos I also run my robo Chis on carpet as it’s easier on their legs. Before secondary repairs: youtu.be/HLs3q0eAyZI Here’s the original description: Meet Rocky, my first robo chi pet!! This is apparently one of the rarer colors of poo chi. I got this guy from eBay for $11 free shipping, which is an absolute steal. I’m really shocked no one else snagged him before I did given how long he was listed. He’s about a normal pitch, maybe the slightest bit on the low pitched side, but still mostly normal pitched. He didn’t come with his bone but that’s fine as I have a magnet that works fine with him. Now if you saw his unboxing you probably know by now that only one of the front legs moved. The reason for that was because the parts of the gears that hold the front legs together broke completely, and I had to 3D print those two parts from scratch. It took a little while but I finally got it all back together and this is the result! I also printed him a new tail that looks really cute when it wags. A lot of people say these are pretty hard to fix, the trick to open the body is that you have to pop the little transparent round shells off the legs with a flathead or something like that and then unscrew the legs off to access the final 2 screws to get apart completely. Along with that, it’s very easy to incorrectly reassemble it, so make sure to take pictures so you know exactly what goes where. If I can solidify the design for the gears and tail, I may be able to sell them on eBay, but Ill have to tinker with them a little more before that happens. Despite all that however, overall I’m really happy with this guy and I’m very excited to collect these guys now! A special thanks goes to my good friend Sterling Andrews for joining me on his unboxing and teaching me how they work. I think that’s pretty much all I have to say about him, so enjoy the video!
