This retail study looks at shops I normally go to and reveals how a disrupted supply chain can cause Christmas gift buying havoc. What's a little weird is the most affected by this no stock in shops is Thomas toys and Hot Wheels toy cars. But as we all know 2021 wasn't a normal year and in Sydney where I live the city was closed down for 4 months. It was an incredibly spooky time. Remember a toy company can't make a dollar form an empty peg or empty shelf in a shop. It's a worst case scenario for this to happen before Christmas when ADULTS are in store buying toys.
