I'll be launching a public Minecraft: Java Edition server this weekend and I want to share the experience with you guys through this live stream. More importantly though, I want YOU to come and play! It'll be a mostly vanilla server with a few extra tools added to stop those nasty griefers. Players can expect a mostly vanilla experience with a small number of tweaks for multiplayer. In particular, we use the GriefPrevention plugin to allow you to protect your builds and valuables. You may build in any established settlement that you choose, but please stick to that settlement's theme. The theme of the settlement currently being built is "medieval". It is located at X 440, Z 0. There is a world border 1536 blocks wide centred at X 256, Z -256. It will be expanded in the future. The Nether and the End are currently disabled. They will be enabled for separate live stream events shortly. ==SERVER RULES== General [1] Keep it family friendly. [2] Be kind to one another. [3] No mods, hacks, or exploits of any kind. [4] Don't lag the server. Building [5] Build in the established settlements according to their theme. Mining [6] Try to stick to the community mine in each settlement. [7] Place torches on the left-hand side of the mineshaft. [8] Only use the designated areas (TBD) for mining large amounts of sand, gravel, and terracotta. Chat [9] No spam or advertising. [10] Use /msg for private conversations. [11] Don't ask for OP, ranks, or items. Livestreaing/Recording [12] Be respectful of players recording or streaming. [13] If you are participating in a live stream event, you must listen to the stream for instructions.
