Back when we were planning the 2nd kids drum set video I was asking about his double bass chops. Well, turns out we both aren't the best so we ditched that idea. So I thought it would be fun to check out The Duallist D4 pedal and see if it made us any better. This thing is trippy... It works like a normal bass pedal BUT theres an extra beater that plays on the up-stroke when lifting off the footboard. It DEFINITELY takes some getting used to and probably a bit more setup time than we did. We played on it for about 15 mins before recording the tracks, and well, its pretty obvious đ From playing on it for that short amount of time I don't think we will be replacing out double bass pedals anytime soon...
