Description: As much as we like what Dragon Ball Super is doing with Granolah as a whole, the overall saga hasn't really resonated with the Dragon Ball community. Why is that? The Dragon Ball saga, Granolah the Survivor, started out with a very strong message about wishing to make amends for past actions. However, the Heeters and Elec saw to it that Granolah wouldn't get that. Goku and Vegeta weren't the main focus of the plot, despite Ultra Ego debuting and Ultra Instinct Goku showing his gains...but everything else? It's just not working with the fans. Why? Can Dragon Ball Super recover as it heads towards the end of Planet Cereal's story with Chapter 82? Let's discuss. #DragonBall #DragonBallSuper #DragonBallSuperManga #DragonBallZ #Granolah #Goku #Vegeta #Manga The Granolah Saga Is A Turn Off. Of course I'm not! I like making these reviews and following the manga...but you are correct. The view count for the reviews and for other channels HAVE INDEED been falling...and the answer seem to be, based on what I've seen people talking about in other videos and commments, is that people aren't as interested in this story as they were just a few short months ago. Upon first understanding this, Haverok and I were rather confused as to why that might be the case. As far as we were concerned, we thought that this saga has been one of the most refreshing stories in recent times. The previous arc, the Moro saga, had been quite an interesting narrative and it really gave some characters and set-pieces more time to shine. There was a lot more vertical worldbuilding, enhancing what already was familiar with the fans and adding more to what we cherished from past times. The Granolah saga started off strong and presented plenty of things to digest. However, as the story progressed and we became more aware of the machinations of the endgame of this story (bar the ending coming in and throwing us all for a loop...as that hasn't happened yet!), that didn't excite fans anymore. We didn't get it and maybe some of you don't get it. Well today we wish to mull over this information and sentiment and discuss why the Granolah The Survivor Saga isn't everybody's cup of tea. Be sure to like, share and subscribe if you like these thought experiments and comment down below what topics you'd like us to cover in the future. Cheers! So to start things off, let's talk about the things that make this latest saga great and why we are so happy to see it exist. Well for starters, the two main characters of the Dragon Ball story (let's be serious here, they ARE the two main characters) have had tons of development going on or they have had their recent flaws and maladies addressed and corrected. For example, one of the biggest things that Dragon Ball fans were immensely frustrated by was that Goku had seemingly regressed in terms of his behaviour, conduct and intellect. For the longest time, he would act completely out of his Z-like state and make rather rash decisions out of nowhere, just for the sake of moving the plot along and nothing more. Now though, in this latest saga, Goku has been acting much more sensibly and more in-keeping with his Buu saga frame of mind. In that saga, he acted like a true leader and knowing master of martial arts. Nothing like we had seen in Super before now. Goku knew his place in this saga; he wasn't the person in charge here nor did the subject really have much to do with himself personally. The closest he gets to being involved properly is that his father Bardock is a major factor in the events that transpired. Other than that, he is just an innocent bystander and respects that for a lot of the time, this isn't his fight to ingratiate himself into and so therefore he abides by that. -------------------------------------- For more content, check out these playlists: Dragon Ball Discussions youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNSgpJTAeqwkewYB-I6GpYreTKzZEJ2Pv Dragon Ball Super REVIEWS youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNSgpJTAeqwmxIhd0rOpabEND06qLDClk The Best of MasakoX youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNSgpJTAeqwmYPLgqQaGdqm4ZWjH01gdk Connect with me: Twitter - /MasakoX Instagram - /realmasako_x Twitch - /masakox_tfs Intro theme by Infinity Tone - youtube.com/c/infinitytone
