Description: Yesterday kind of out of nowhere, jagex dropped a beta for their new official game launcher. Now this is just a simple launcher, but it has some pretty large implications for the future of oldschool runescape. Once the new runescape launcher is out of beta, it will be the only way to play runescape. Now its been comfirmed the runelite will be included in the launcher, but no other 3rd party clients will be allowed. Now this has a whole host of pros and cons, and thats what I want to discuss today. I will also be showing off the launcher, and how to download it and try it out.
