Barrettes or whatever they are called, the piece of leather with the stick type thing, they're better, but it was always really annoying the way the stick would fall out sometimes. Obviously I am referring to people with gross curly or bushy hair, if you have long straight hair this isn't the best solution, but the regular elastics should be less exquisitely painful for you guys to take in and out right? The main drawback to my type is the lack of adjustment, you shouldn't make yours straight after having your weekly shower, maybe wait till after you've had your shower but it's the next day and your hair has dried. Then as the week proceeds it will get a bit tighter. If the thing is too tight to put on maybe it's time to have another shower? Also, side note to a side note, if you have hair like mine then I recommend a "Horse Comb" for the weekly brush out. Any kind of comb with steel teeth. If you're like me you're breaking the ones with the plastic or wooden tines. Anyway here's an additional piece of text where I mention tools or something.
