Description: #narcissism #narcissist #malevolent The truth about narcissists is that they are malevolent and rational people don't always understand that. Manipulation, gaslighting, projection, lying, triangulation, are forms of control narcissists use on their targets, however, not all the people you know will understand the hell you have gone through. When most people think of a narcissist, they think of someone who is in love with themselves. And while it's true that narcissists do have an inflated sense of self-importance, there's a lot more to narcissism than just that. Narcissists are also master manipulators, and they often use their power to control and hurt the people around them. This type of manipulative behavior can be incredibly damaging - both physically and emotionally. If you're in a relationship with a narcissist, it's important to understand the signs of narcissism so you can protect yourself. If you're in a relationship with a narcissist, you may find yourself the victim of gaslighting. Gaslighting is a form of emotional control in which the narcissist manipulates you into doubting your own perceptions and reality. As a result, you may start to question your sanity and feel increasingly isolated from family and friends. It's important to be careful about who you confide in about the narcissist in your life. Only speak to those you trust and who will offer constructive support. Setting boundaries with the narcissist is also essential. Otherwise, you may find yourself caught in an emotionally toxic cycle that takes a toll on your mental and physical health. Circular conversations, twisting of the facts, and demanding loyalty in the face of lies, can wreak havoc on your mental health. Don't get caught up trying to convince someone else you're dealing with a narcissist and instead focus on getting away and finding those who can help you heal. support.coach@lisaaromano.co Thanks for watching "RATIONAL PEOPLE GET THIS WRONG ABOUT A #NARCISSIST"/LISA ROMANO #narcissist #narcissism #npd #codependence #rationalpeoplegetthiswrongaboutnarcissists
