Description: Pablo Schreiber discusses his experience playing Master Chief in Paramount+'s "Halo", Wednesday on "The Talk." "Halo has been around for 20 years. The character is this amazing cybernetic, physically augmented super soldier who is humanities last hope against this alien invasion," Schreiber says. "The process since I got cast was just amazing digging into all the mythology and lure that's been established over the last 20 years... the process of humanizing the Master Chief, which is what we're going to do over the course of the first season, is really his process of learning who he is as a human being." On transforming his body for the role, he adds, "I'm a naturally a very thin guy, so for me to put on a bunch of muscle and hold onto it over the course of a two-year shoot, which is took us for the first season, is a big challenge. One of my main goals as an actor it to change up every time I'm out, and so the physicality is obviously a very huge part of that."
