Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy After Simon and Garfunkel’s first album tanked, producer Tom Wilson took the album’s original acoustic version of “Sound Of Silence” and added electric instruments and released it as a single. Decades later, Disturbed and lead singer David Draiman gave the song a creative new interpretation which we’ll look at for the first video in a new series I’m doing, called Cover vs. Original.
