Description: Trump is officially sworn in, so The Resistance Begins. And as a "liberal Hollywood elite", I made sure to hit the ground RUNNING. I of course made sure to participate in The Women's March in LA, which ended up being the largest demonstration in the history of the United States (how awesome is that?). But before that, on the night before and after Trump's inauguration, I took part in a Great American Speeches performance/protest that also doubled as a fundraiser for the Southern Poverty Law Center. In it, I gave a speech that Edward R. Murrow gave in 1958, wherein he predicted all the things about American news media that would lead to Trump's rise. Then, on Sunday, I co-hosted a livestream for Planned Parenthood. So yeah, it's safe to say that I'm ready and anxious to resist Trump and his backwards agenda, and so are millions of others.
