Description: Did the government suppress the truth about the UFO threat to the United States in the Project Blue Book Reports? And If so Why? According to Dr. J. Allen Hynek the truth is yet to be told. WHAT WAS PROJECT BLUE BOOK? Project Blue Book was the code name for the systematic study of unidentified flying objects (UFO) by the United States Air Force from March 1952 to its termination on December 17, 1969. The Project Blue Book program was conducted in three phases. The first phase includes receipt of UFO reports initial investigation of the reports. The Air Force base nearest the location of a reported sighting was charged with the responsibility of investigating the sighting and forwarding the information to the Project Blue Book Office at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. If the initial investigation did not reveal a positive identification or explanation, a second phase of more intensive analysis was conducted by the Project Blue Book Office/J. Allen Hynek. Each case was objectively and scientifically analyzed, and, if necessary, all of the scientific facilities available to the Air Force would be used to assist in arriving at an identification or explanation. All personnel associated with the investigation, analysis, and evaluation efforts of the project viewed each report with a scientific approach and an open mind. The third phase of the program is dissemination of information concerning UFO sightings, evaluations, and statistics. This is accomplished by the Secretary of the Air Force, Office of Information. At the time, the Air Force defined an unidentified flying object as any aerial object which the observer is unable to identify. Thank You For Watching The WTF Files!
