Description: Giannis and the Bucks just won a NBA championship that no one wanted them to...and here's what they proved. #NBA #Giannis #Bucks Twitch- twitch.tv/mjallday2k Second Channel Vid- youtube.com/channel/UCZWAssCaz6YHMXGziCKtdPw Discord- discord.gg/RSUxXmU Tik Tok- vm.tiktok.com/wfx5vW REACTION CHANNEL: youtube.com/watch?v=VQRMHGayBNY&t=516s The OUTRO song is OUT!: youtube.com/watch?v=-SUYj3SUdUw Instagram- @MJ2K_ALLDAY Twitter- @mj2kallday The Bucks are weird man. Also, they're NBA champions. I had absolutely no stakes in these playoffs, but man it's so satisfying for the Bucks to win because for these entire playoffs, Giannis and Middleton have been clowned on. Oh Giannis isn't a playoff superstar. Middleton isn't a real star. But oh yeah at the same time, to tear down Giannis, all the media analysts blew smoke up Middleton's ass calling him Batman and saying he's the finals MVP. NBA players were making up what if scenarios to give Khris Middleton finals MVP. What if scenarios. Y'all understand how far people are going just to deny Giannis some respect that he deserves. Like what the f am I lookin at. Are you a hooper or basketball player, stop putting Giannis down. Some of the most iconic moments in the finals, in the clutch were a result of Giannis, the block, the alley-oop. Giannis gets so much hate for being a freak of nature and gets called out for having no skill. Are y'all dumb? Has ESPN brainwashed you. If size was all that mattered, then. god damn Rudy Gobert, RUDY GOBERT, would be dominating right? 7 foot 3 Porzingis would've been killing it in the playoffs, right? No one in the league, including all the 7 footers, is doing what Giannis is doing every night. It's not just running dunking, alright. Do we tell Curry that he needs to dunk? No we don't So on Twitter, I asked y'all to find me instances of other players supporting Giannis, follow me on twitter, and well y'all found a few instances like Draymond praising defense, Ja who is very active on twitter, Rudy Gobert congratulated Giannis for making the finals, and Dame and Andre Iguodala talked about the block and that was all of it for these entire playoffs. Giannis just had one of the best finals series of all time, look at these numbers, leading to actual wins. But compare that to players reacting to Durant's performances, or even Luka's last year. The outpour of support is massive, multiple players congratulating, complimenting, in amazement. Giannis dropped back to back 40 point games and no one cared. Man had one of the best blocks in the NBA Finals and only 2 players cared enough to tweet. Even when Trae Young had a 48 point game against the Bucks, players showered support, but zilch for Giannis. And most of y’all not subscribed, y’all could support me by subscribing, that or keep watching shit takes from ESPN. One of the main reasons why you don't see players supporting Giannis is simply because he's not buddy buddy with other players. He doesn't workout with other players, he's turned LeBron and Carmelo down. Giannis said it feels weird to workout in the summer and then play against them in a few months. It's that old school mentality. So because Giannis doesn't extend friendships in the league, they don't extend it back. But mutual respect is lost somewhere in that process. Even when Chris Paul was asked why Giannis seemingly get more respect from his peers, he had a non-answer, stating the Giannis still scores and that you gotta find a way to stop him. Don't forget, the man worked out with Kobe after he retired. And he's fulfilling Kobe's mission for him. It's this hypocrisy, Giannis being the outsider despite having 2 MVPs and a DPOY, a dude that begged on the streets, this pisses me off so much and it's why Giannis winning a ring is just so satisfying. But let's look at Khris Middleton for just a second. Khris Jordan came to play, but if you look at his career, it's been anything but a smooth ride. Man played 3 years in college, was a second round pick, got traded by the team that drafted him, I mean a true come up story. And he's also been made fun of, not even been recognized as a star. He wasn't even an all-star this year. And oh yes Jrue Holiday, the player that at one point this season was the most underrated player int he league until everyone realized. The guy who every player says is the best perimeter defender in the league. For him to have this type of story from being unrecognized to part of a Big 3 on a championship team, again man these story arcs for the Bucks are amazing. When you talk about a Mamba mentality, that shit is it. People need to stop holding on to this notion that Giannis is not an all-time great already. Giannis winning a Finals MVP is so important, because the Bucks weren't the villain. They were the outsider that no one wanted to give props to, and they did it. But what do you think? Where do you rank Giannis now?
