Description: Share This Video: youtu.be/h8qODdjV77o Nerdist Video: youtu.be/bxx6ZGpGyjc I partnered up with the Nerdist to create this super cool video about the theoretical matchup between ROBO COP and The Terminator, the T-800 from the last movie Dark Fate. We chose these two specifically because they are two of the newest characters in Mortal Kombat 11. The video we made is awesome, and we came up with some really cool science experiments to test the attack abilities of each character. And One of the pieces of equipment we used was this thing called the punching machine. We used this to test hypothetical scenarios of robo cop punching the terminator (and vice versa). The punching machine itself is really interesting. It is essentially a pneumatic air cannon with a metal piston instead of an open barrel. What this does is allows the punch to deliver constant force as opposed to shooting a projectile like PVC nerf dart from our PVC air cannon. Also, because the punching machine is made out of an aluminum cylinder and steel frame this allows us to use a higher pressure. During our Nerdist video we used about 115 PSI. When we use the plastic air cannon we never really go above 75 PSI. So before we return this punching machine to the Nerdist I wanted to test it out against a few other items to get a better understanding of how it performs LMK in the comments down below what else we should use up against the punching machine!
