Tchaikovsky's imaginative themes in this ballet powerfully convey the frigidity of Winter and the heartwarming joy of the season, intense confrontation and festive celebration. I've listened to this music a lot over the last year, and I wanted to put together an arrangement of my favourite pieces from this ballet while remaining true to the story at its core.
