Description: Do you remember the Matrix games? Have you tried playing them recently? I did, and they weren't as incredible as we remember them. However, there is an incredible moment at the end of The Matrix: Path of Neo... one that many who played the game might not completely recall. Upon encountering this moment again, I was reminded of just how incredible the Matrix series is, and my hype for The Matrix: Resurrections has skyrocketed. The Cartesian Dilemma: Rene Descartes was a French philosopher. He held the belief that because he thinks, he exists ("I think therefore I am"). In Descartes' mind, if all else was an illusion, at least he could be certain of this fact. However, there is great dispute regarding whether or not this phrase is actually true. Philosophers like Friedrich Nietzsche said that it would be more accurate to say "something is thinking", rather than it being you that thinks. This uncertainty regarding the truth of the matter reflects the insolvability of the "free will vs. fate" or "choice vs. choicelessness" dichotomy. In the case of Neo, he has to overcome all three dichotomies in order to achieve Satori.
