Description: There are only a few more iconic engines than this spectacular four-rotor Wankel-type unit that also managed to bring the 787B first to the finish in 1991 of 24 hours of Le Mans. It was built at the peak of Wankel era when Mazda had multiple rotary-powered models in the portfolio. In theory, this was a twin 13B engine using only natural aspiration and incredibly high rpm to reach its 700 hp setup.
