Description: A teenager who was born with a hair formation on his back that looks like a tail says he has learned to live happily with his condition. Deshant Adhikari, 16, from Palpa, Nepal, has a 70-centimetre-long hair protrusion on his back, which has made him popular on social media. After going viral on TikTok thanks to his unusual condition, Deshant said that, while in the past he and his parents used to be ashamed of the tail, he is now completely comfortable showing it to the world. It has even been suggested by some that Deshant could possess some sort of supernatural power and be the reincarnation of a God. Filmmaker Puskar Nepal, who interviewed Deshant and filmed his tail, said: “His parents didn’t know about his condition until they took him home from hospital five days after he was born. “They took him to different local hospitals and even abroad seeking the proper treatment, but no effort could stop the tail from growing. “Later they consulted the priests and they were told not to comb or use any tool to cut the tail. “The priests even pointed out that the boy might possess some supernatural power as he might be the reincarnation of Lord Hanuman, the God of monkeys. “They let the tail grow naturally thereafter and stopped looking for a treatment." During his interview with Puskar, Deshant is heard saying: “Now a lot of people know me as the boy with a tail, and I feel good about it." * Connect with StoryTrender: Submit your video: storytrender.com/submit-content Follow us on Twitter: twitter.com/StoryTrender Like our Facebook: facebook.com/StorytrenderOfficial Follow us on Instagram: instagram.com/storytrender Visit our website: storytrender.com Company Information: StoryTrender is owned and operated by Caters News Agency Ltd, an international multimedia content provider.
