In 2007, Hero Honda launched two new motorcycles: Hero Honda Hunk and Hero Honda Splendor NXG. In 2009, Hero Honda celebrates its Silver Jubilee and launches a new motorcycle “Hero Honda Karizma ZMR”. In 2010, Hero Honda launches a new version of Splendor named Splendor Pro. After multiple unresolved disputes Hero and Honda signed an agreement to dissolve their partnership, thus putting an end to one of the most successful joint venture in the history of Indian automobile industry. Following year a new licensing agreement was signed between the two companies and on July 29 Hero Honda Motors changed its name to Hero Motocorp and Honda exited from the company. In 2012 Hero launches Hero Impulse, a dual-sport 150cc motorcycle and Hero Ignitor, a semi-faired 125cc motorcycle. Hero Motocorp currently hold 49% stake in Erik Buell Racing, a sport motorcycle company of United States of America which produces Street and Racing motorcycles and Hero is working on to bring four new performance motorcycles to the Indian market namely Hero Hastur, Hero HX 250R, Hero XF3R and Hero Xtreme 200SS. While Honda on the other hand has already big bikes in his Indian lineup like Honda CBR 1000RR, Honda CB 1000R, Honda CBR 650F along with the newly launched adventure-tourer Honda Africa Twin.
