Description: A few weeks have passed since I shot this video. A few months since I uploaded my last one. Wow! How did that happen? I suppose it's true what they say about how time flies when you're having fun. Hanging out at my friend's shop in North Carolina, working on stuff and NOT having to make videos at the same time was a welcome break from my normal routine. It felt so good that I told myself, I could easily see doing this full time from now on. It rarely felt like work and the potential for money was very good. But there is certainly something magical about sharing what you love with the world on Youtube. And I missed it. My social media life felt a bit like a family. One built from friends and strangers alike. Even the haters, I suppose played a part because putting yourself out there keeps you honest. It's hard to put one over on thousands of people. That's why I always tried to show the real thing. Ups and downs. Triumphs and mistakes. But The Loop started becoming more bad then good. It's funny how a big boat can be such a pain. I don't remember kayaking ever being so dramatic! I don't mind Kon Tiki III or any other big boat or any other journey for that matter. As long as it doesn't interfere with what I love. Kayaking and fishing were pushed aside and that just won't do. There are no guarantees that my decisions are going to lead me back towards the happiness I once felt while simply paddling around the mangroves hunting for snook or redfish. But I hope so. Because I miss the happy videos that went hand in hand with those simple times.
