Description: Beaufort, South Carolina. That's where! Traveling the ICW has been a lot of fun and just as much of an exhausting experience, what with keeping things safe and everything ship shape. At all times, there seems to be some looming, potential for disaster that requires my attention. One eye's worth at least. And for me, Youtubing demands my full attention. So, there's been very little time to lock myself away and make videos. Filming continues though. As does our progress. With luck, we'll make our New York destination. With luck, we'll figure where to winter the boats once we get there! And pressing fortune even further, I'll make it back to sunny Florida before this summer flies by and the cold returns to the American NorthEast. The good news (I guess) is that my absence from uploading has not been due to death or terrible injury. Only from excess enthusiasm. There is SO much to ingest. Sights. Sounds. People and places. Navigation and exploration. The days absolutely rocket past like so many center console outboarding hot rodders (can ya tell it's a holiday weekend?) that I am fast asleep before I know it. Every day is chock full of chores. Like living in the old days. Before all the modern conveniences that allow us 'free' time. I have to chase down water. Walking the dogs requires a tight rope walker's agility. Laundry is a workout but also gets my cuticles clean like I had money counting hands! Haha. I wouldn't change it. I only wish I could share more then I do. My only assurance is that I will keep the content rolling as often as life allows. Well after this leg of traveling is over. One other wish is for everyone to paddle a kayak. Rent one. Borrow one. Get a cheapie from Craigslist or Walmart. Just be sure not to let this summer go by without getting out there and seeing what I'm talking about.
