Description: The Getaway car is a Jungle Bird variation created by Meaghan Dorman for the Raines Law Room in the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC. This is a cocktail that was making the rounds in our Discord channel recently and I felt I needed to try it. The Ancho Reyes gives it a nice seasonal kick and it's just a really a well put together drink. Meaghan Dorman is well known in NYC for her simple balanced approach to cocktails, she began working at the Raines Law Room in 2009 when they opened and under her tenure they were a finalist for the Tales Of The Cocktail Best Cocktail Menu Award. She is also a member of LUPEC or Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails. An organization of well known women in the cocktail industry working to further women in the industry and of course the protection of Classic Cocktails.
