I know it’s anecdotal but I played through this game in one sitting. It’s that good. The last game I did that with was Valhalla… JK, that would literally kill me. It was Celeste on a snowy day when I was stuck inside (happily). That is always indicative to me that the game has captivated me, and this game truly does that. In my mind, this year there’s only been two, maybe 3 if you include Psychonauts 2, games that have blown expectations out of the water: The Forgotten City, and It Takes Two.
