Description: CONTACT ME DIRECTLY HERE: patreon.com/PolarWarriors Today I'd like to share something really profound with you all. I'm going to read a 5-chapter autobiography by Portia Nelson in just under 2 minutes. I think you will get a kick out of this one: -Chapter 1: I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in. I am lost. I am helpless. It isn't my fault. It takes forever to find a way out. -Chapter 2: I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I still don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I am in the same place. It isn't my fault. It still takes a long time to get out. -Chapter 3: I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it there, I still fall in. It's habit. It IS my fault. I know where I am. I get out immediately. -Chapter 4: I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it. -Chapter 5: I walk down a different street. Now isn't that one of the coolest 5-chapter, under 2 minutes autobiographies that you've heard? I thought it was rather brilliant. I'll probably print that one out and frame it on my wall. It really captures the process we go through with everything from conflict, to addiction, and even our journey from being diagnosed with bipolar disorder to where we are right now. So what chapter do you feel you are at in your life journey right now? How do you think this applies to what we all go through as Polar Warriors? Watch the video again if you'd like and then join the conversation in the comments. If you don't like or didn't get the story, that's totally OK too! There's no right response here. I just enjoy hearing from the Community and look forward to reading the comments. ---My channel is completely dedicated to helping individuals, families, and friends who struggle with, or know someone living with Bipolar Disorder.
