Description: The American Cocker Spaniel, or simple the Cocker Spaniel if you live Stateside was the surprise breed to top Crufts 2017 when Sh Ch Afterglow Miami Ink was awarded Best in Show by Jeff Horswell. The Afterglow kennel of Mike Gadsby and Jason Lynn is one of the most successful kennels in Uk history, with more than 100 champions across almost 20 breeds. In 2014 they won Crufts Best in Show with an equally hairy but much bigger breed, the Standard Poodle Ch Afterglow Maverick Sabre, and just three years later win again with Miami the American Cocker. We visited the kennel to learn all about the American Cocker Spaniel and what has made the Afterglow team so successful.
