I'm back with another Testing TikTok Recipe Video and this time I am showing you 5 viral EASY desserts to see if they are actually worth the hype! I must confess that I am NOT a baker and I can cook but usually not well (hence some of the food shots you're going to see in this video SMH) but when TikTok says recipes are easy I feel like that's MY LANE! So, I tracked down five easy TikToks that have gone viral and then I went wild in my kitchen! I will list the TikTok's that inspired these recipes down below so that you can reference them if you want to see how the pros do it! Easy Tres Leches Cake Bake one box of vanilla cake according to the directions on the box. Once it's done, use a fork and poke holes all over the cake and also cut off the edges of the cake as well. Mix one can of evaporated milk, one can of condensed milk, and one can of whole milk together and pour that all over your cake. Cover the cake and let it sit in the fridge for several hours. While that is chilling in the fridge, make your homemade whipped cream. Use one small container of heavy whipping cream, and whip with a whisk until fluffy. Once fluffy add a quarter cup of powdered sugar and whip until the mixture is mixed well. Top the vanilla cake with the homemade whipped cream and fresh strawberries and serve cold! Using a hand mixer is preferred and mix it until the texture is creamy and smooth. Then add one cup of all purpose flour and mix thoroughly and expect the texture to be crumbly. Use your hands and form balls and place those evenly spaced on a cookie sheet. Pat the dough balls down and sprinkle them with sprinkles. To make the whipped cream: Use one small container of heavy whipping cream, and whip with a whisk until fluffy. Once fluffy add a quarter cup of powdered sugar and whip until the mixture is mixed well. Lay a thick layer of pieces and line the bottom of a baking dish. Mix three eggs, one cup of whole milk. 1 1/4 cups of heavy cream, half a cup of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, and a dash of nutmeg. Pour that mixture over the donut pieces. Let that sit for 10 minutes. In a large bowl, mix one egg, one package of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of white sugar, and a tablespoon of vanilla. Pour that mixture on top of the cookie dough layer and fill in the top layer with your remaining cookie dough pieces.
