Description: Leonidas the service dog was having a hard time jumping up to push the automatic door openers for his owner. Leonidas is a service dog who was with us for a board and train. We worked on cleaning up all of his basic commands as well as teaching him some new tasks. We had to troubleshoot a bit to get Leon to jump because he was trained as a service dog NOT to jump! So we had to take a few steps backward and teach him that jumping was ok, (and necessary!) as long as it was on command. This video brings you step by step through the process of how we taught it and generalized it to the real world.
