If you do standing Sun Salutations to the four directions with this it really increases its power, your power. If you do this, let your hands do what they will as you sink deeper in. I naturally and organically started letting my hands flow into and through different Mudras. Or you can simply sit in Lotus, lay back, whatever you choose. Just wanted to share my experience with this as it came into existence. Defeat the shadows and doubts that block your way… Awaken your strengths and powers, and realize the wisdom to use them. Kundalini (Muladhara/Root Chakra) - Stimulate and awaken the Serpent Goddess/Kundalini energy, causing it to rise through all your Chakras simultaneously. From the Root Chakra, through the Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Brow and Crown. Rising through your body/soul through each Chakra until it reaches your Crown Chakra and rises above you to connect with the universe that you are part of. When Kundalini Shakti is conceived as a goddess, when it rises to the head, it unites itself with the Supreme Being (Lord Shiva). Then the aspirant becomes engrossed in deep meditation and infinite bliss. Kundalini can awaken spontaneously, for no obvious reason or triggered by intense personal experiences such as accidents, near death experiences, childbirth, emotional trauma, extreme mental stress, and so on. Some sources attribute spontaneous awakenings to the "grace of God", or possibly to spiritual practice in past lives. Kundalini awakening results in enlightenment and bliss. This awakening involves the Kundalini physically moving up the central channel to reside within the Sahasrara Chakra above the head. This movement of Kundalini is felt by the presence of a cool or, in the case of imbalance, a warm breeze across the palms of the hands or the soles of the feet. Many systems of yoga focus on the awakening of Kundalini through meditation, pranayama breathing, the practice of asana and chanting of mantras. In physical terms, one commonly reported Kundalini experience is a feeling like electric current running along the spine. --- The Third Eye (Ajna/Brow Chakra) allows us to see deeper into everything and gives us a deeper understanding of what we are seeing. It is a conduit to "the source," or "the universe." The ancient being that you are is accessible through this portal. We lose connection to this ancient self, that is us, as we grow into young children and start mimicking what we see and hear, and over time, the years of our youth and sometimes beyond, we close that eye that allows us to look deep inward, and without even noticing, we begin to only see the external world, with a very skewed perception of what is out there. Patterns caused mostly by external stimuli, can shift into "not so healthy" frequencies and cause depression, lethargy, etc.. Opening/stimulating the "Third Eye" can allow us to see much deeper into the world around us, and give us far more understanding of that world, and ourselves as well. It will enhance empathy, compassion and understanding. Perception creates attitude, attitude becomes character. Who you are is based firmly in how you perceive the world around you. By opening/stimulating the Third Eye, you will begin to see far deeper into yourself and your world.
