Description: Does your dog explode on the walk? Are you quickly starting to dread your walk instead of enjoying it? This unfortunately is the case for so many dog owners today. Leash reactivity has become a huge problem, and it's only becoming more and more common. There's also so much misinformation out there about it- like you can stop it with treats and patience. That could not be farther from the truth. The only way to stop leash reactivity is to apply a properly timed correction to teach the dog that their actions have consequences. The correction can be something as simple as a leash pop, an e collar stim, or even a squirt bottle at the first sign of them triggering on something. You want to extinguish the behavior as SOON as you see it start. The first glance, even. If you wait too long, you'll miss your opportunity and have an exploding dog on the leash. In this video we will point out the exact signs to look for, so you can give your dog the RIGHT information at the RIGHT time. This dog made huge progress in just two sessions with me, and her owners are keeping up with it all at home as well. Leash reactivity usually isn't just a problem for the walk...there are usually other areas where the dog's training needs improvement as well. Like how compliant are they inside the house? Do they break command all the time? All of these little things stack and either help you get closer to the dog you want, or further away. Dog training is a full circle, and you can't just pick and choose what you want to work on.
