The show is a spin-off of CW's Supergirl, part of the Arrowverse. Evil supervillains and alien invaders are nothing compared to the challenges that Lois and Clark face next as working parents. The new CW show will focus on all of the pressures and stress that come with the world we currently live in, while adding a mix of super powers. Will their twin sons Jonathan and Jordan inherit their father's Kryptonian super abilities? Will Lex Luthor make an appearance? What we know for certain is that Superman will continue to be played by Tyler Hoechlin who first appeared in season 2 of Super Girl where he occasionally teamed up with Kara to help save National City. Elizabeth Tulloch who also appeared in Super Girl will be reprising her role as Lois in the new series. The show is described as a family drama in the vein of the classics like Everwood and Friday Night Lights, with the addition of super powers.
