Description: In mid-December 2021, I managed to film the takeoff and landing of Emirates’ Airbus A380 aircraft with the rare "Dubai Expo" livery at Manchester Airport on runway 23R. During its approach to landing, there was either a suspected bird strike of an earlier aircraft during its takeoff roll on the runway, or there was a suspected set of birds on the runway, so air traffic control instructed the Emirates to go-around. After the runway was inspected it was reopened around 10 minutes later, with the A380 landing around 15 minutes after its initial aborted landing/go-around. Using my Panasonic 4K video camera and tripod, I filmed all of the clips in this video at Manchester Airport. I used iMovie to edit all of the raw video clips I filmed to create this video here, which only uses content I myself filmed and fully own. I adjusted my camera's microphone settings when the A380's engines were on idle at the start of the video to try and pick up as much of the engine sound as possible. The aircraft is Emirates A380 A6-EES (first flight in 2013)
