Description: Today, I show you a super cool diy drywall trick to mark electrical boxes on walls and ceilings with no tape measure. This DIY drywall hack is perfect for the do it yourself and it requires no measuring to get a great cut around ceiling or wall electrical boxes. Simply take a carpenters pencil and mark the electrical boxes rim. Then lift your drywall in the place applying pressure to where the box is not too much so you break the drywall. But, enough to transfer the mark of the box to the back of the drywall. I was using a drywall lift because I was doing this water damage job by myself. You don't need a drywall lift to do this trick. It will take two people to do lift the drywall on a ceiling. But if your installing a piece of drywall on a wall. the pencil trick can be done by one person.
