Description: Relax as this sunset sky oil painting comes together. It was intended as a quick sketch in my sketchbook just to have an experiment with some new supplies that I'd never used before. It's always nice to experiment with different mediums & materials. 🌟 Check out my Online Painting Course: katiejobling.com/online-painting-course 🌟 Painting on a sketchpad with oils as opposed to a canvas is totally different! I found that the paint dried super fast and wasn't as easy to move around as it is on a canvas. It was good to try out though and I think with some more practise it will become easier. Remember: If you want to paint with oils in a sketchpad, it must be one designed for use with oil painting. Oil painting on normal paper isn't a good idea as the oils sink into the paper and degrade it. ☆ Watch Next...
