Just one ticket for riding without helmet (₱1500), will already match the price of an approved motorcycle helmet (ICC/PS) A substandard helmet, like those intended for bicycles and skateboards will actually result in a ticket that's twice as expensive (₱3000). For those vehicles that were found to be illegally parked, the penalty is ₱1000 if the driver immediately appears and surrenders their license. If no driver appears in time, the penalty is ₱2000 and there are additional fees for the towing.
