Description: Yesterday was such an awesome day on the water! My good friend Timothy Molina invited his friends Stephen Alarid and James Albaugh (both Marine Corps Veterans) to come spend the day fishing for catfish. We launched out and dragged some fresh cut gizzard shad across an underwater island. We managed to catch a few eater sized catfish throughout the day. It was later in the afternoon when one of the rods bent over and the drag started screaming. Stephen picked up the rod and the fight was on! At the end of the line was a massive 37lb striped bass! What a perfect end to a day. Veteran's day and the Marine Corps birthday were just a few days ago, what a perfect way to celebrate! Congratulations Stephen on the catch of a lifetime and thank you for your service! You and James both.
