Description: Designer Kaitlyn Wolfe of Iconic Design + Build gives Rick Spence a tour of her home in Scottsdale, Arizona. In the kitchen, Wolfe repurposed the former cabinets and painted them a dark charcoal color to contrast with the new light white-oak flooring, white walls and glossy white picket backsplash. She also removed a wall to open the kitchen to the living room, where a large gray fabric sectional joins a vintage Knoll coffee table and two leather chairs. A new storage niche with a floating high-gloss white cabinet and floating shelves gives Wolfe a place to display antiques and other accessories and she shares great tips on how to do so. In the master bedroom, panels of hot-rolled steel cover the headboard wall, giving the space an industrial vibe that’s softened by an upholstered bed frame.
