The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina. ______________ Spider-Man 3, AKA Spider-Man: No Way Home, has officially wrapped filming so everything seems on track for it to be swinging into cinemas this December. The ominous title was confirmed in February after some gentle teasing from fans, while Tom Holland has been busy teasing just what's in store for his third solo movie as Peter Parker. He's been calling the third Spider-Man movie "the most ambitious standalone superhero movie ever made", and based on what we know, he's not exaggerating. Based on all the reports to date, the third movie is set to bring a live-action Spider-Verse into the MCU, with several unexpected returns from across the entirety of Spider-Man's live-action movies. Big news for the third movie is that Jamie Foxx is reprising his role as Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Alfred Molina is back as Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2. Neither of those films are MCU movies, so it's not yet clear whether it'll be the exact same versions of the characters, but it looks as though we're heading firmly into the multiverse in the threequel. It's also been reported that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be back as their respective takes on Peter Parker, while they'll be joined by Kirsten Dunst's Mary Jane Watson and Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy. There's not anything official that has been revealed about the movie's plot yet. Far From Home left Peter in a very interesting place as, thanks to Mysterio and J Jonah Jameson, the world knows who he is. The 3rd movie could see Peter seeking Doctor Strange's help to make the world forget that he's Spider-Man. If Mysterio is still alive, it does set up the intriguing possibility of the Sinister Six being involved in the threequel, a rumour that's gaining even more traction with the casting of Electro and Doc Ock.
