Description: Planets and stars are created to scale, and have accurate tilt. however the speed at which they rotate is not accurate at all. Dimensions used (in order presented) Song is by Mozart: Lacrimosa Celestial Body Radius (in km) Earth: 6378 Moon: 1738 Mercury: 2439 Mars: 3397 Venus: 6052 Neptune: 25,269 (equatorial) 24,340 (polar) Pluto: 1160 Uranus: 25,559 (equatorial) 24,973 (polar) Saturn: 60,268 (equatorial) 54,360 (polar) (not including rings) Jupiter: 71,490 (equatorial) 66,854 (polar) Sun: 693,300 km Betelgeuse 1,323,049,800 km or (950 solar radii) NML Cygni 2,297,928,600 km or (1650 solar radii) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Debate about largest known star: NML Cygni is the largest known star, where the radius is reasonably certain. There are other known stars That may very well be larger, however it is not well established that they actually are, and they may in fact be Smaller. Rather than choosing one of those stars, and just using the upper limit (which would have Dwarfed Betelgeuse), I chose to be more realistic and conservative and went with a more established size. For the record, the contender would be KY cygni with an UPPER limit of 2850 solar Radii. --------------- I will be making many more space videos.
