Description: Here's my recipe for how to make extremely soft and layered parathas with banana and wheat flour (atta). You can make it in two versions: a sweet (served with butter, honey, chai, sweetened yogurt/dahi; and a non-sweet version served with green chutney, dal, or any curry. @AprilFlower Arts Follow me on: Instagram: instagram.com/thushara_mohan Facebook facebook.com/aprilflowerarts Ingredients for Banana Paratha: Wheat Flour/ Atta – 2 cups (250 g.) – can be replaced with refined flour/maida Banana – 1 large or 2 small ones One egg (optional)- or may be replaced with another banana, ½ cup yogurt/dahi or milk Sugar or Brown Sugar- 1-2 tbsp (for mildly sweet version); ¼ cup or more (for sweeter version) Salt – ½ tsp 1 tbsp Ghee or cooking oil ½ cup (approx.) warm milk/ warm water to knead the dough Ghee or cooking oil to fry the parathas
