Description: Hello everybody, SlimKirby here (or should I say Pokemon Trainer Rob?), and welcome to the Pokemon Emerald playthrough! That's right, we are finally moving forward in the Pokemon universe with Generation III, the generation I have the least amount of experience with (with exception to Gen 8, which I haven't touched yet, but plan to later this year). The world of Hoenn is big (and filled with lots of water) and this will be the biggest Pokemon adventure yet! As mentioned in the video, unlike previous Pokemon playthroughs, this WILL NOT be a 100% Pokedex playthrough. Completing the Pokedex in Gen 3 is a huge endeavor and not one that can be done easily (honestly, I don't even think I can do it since I'm missing certain spinoff games). However, I will at the very least try and catch all of the new Pokemon that were introduced in this gen, assuming they can be caught in Emerald specifically. For the ones that aren't available whatsoever, I'll try to talk about them to an extent, but that's about all I am promising with this playthrough and I hope you understand. In this video we get our starter Pokemon and begin our Pokemon adventure!
